Henry has left for barca. i'm shaken. it all happened so quickly, without much anticipation. i'm in disbelief. i never expected anyone like him to leave arsenal. he is my all-time football hero.

being arsenal's all-time leading goalscorer and arguably the most feared striker in the entire world, henry has brought the standard of world football up to another level.withhisoutstanding precision and dazzling skills, he simply is amazing. an artist some might call him, for his work on the pitch is unique and passionate. with groundbreaking pace and strength, henry definitely has all the qualities of a world-class striker.

henry has also brought professionalism to greater heights. on and off the pitch, his determination is admirable. he does not put in less than 100% effort on the pitch. off the pitch, he is an inspiration.a teachertothe younger generation, as well as a great influence to their characters.

oh henry, how could you have left us, at such a time where we needed you most? the consequences of your departure are positive to you, but very negative to us. what happened to your commitment to us? did you forget what you said? that there was something special in the club of arsenal? now, our players do not have that influence, that captain, and that inspiration. who is going to nurture the outstanding young talents we possess? they came here because of you, haven't you realised that? "This is my last contract, this is where i belong." have you forgotten what you said a year ago, when you signed a 4-year deal with the club?

nevertheless, i respect your decision. who am i to be a skeptic of your choices? for you are wise, and you make the wisest decisions. and as i read your last words, i'd like to say thank you for everything you have done. thierry henry, you will be arsenal's hero for life. now, i bid you goodbye and all the best. au revoir.

his last words : “Well, I would to say you have been tremendous for me I really do appreciate it. I am shaking as I say this. I will always remember you. I will have you in my head and my heart. I wanted to reassure you that I always gave 100 per cent here. I know some people said some other stuff but I always gave 100 per cent. I hope you appreciate what I did here because I appreciate what you did for me. I grew as a man and became a better football player. I will always take that with me no matter what happens.
