hello. now i know that work, especially when u serve people, isn't that difficult. it becomes difficult only when u meet very very choosy, grumpy, fussy etc. customers.

yesterday, i had to serve this very choosy customer. she asked for so much, while trying for the lowest price. and the worse and most shocking thing was that she took about 1 minute choosing the right cutlery. i mean all the cutlery's already clean(if not why would they be there). she was taking one by one, inspecting them for marks/scratches/stains, putting them back, taking a few more different ones, eliminating them one by one... blah blah. that's crazy man! i'm so lucky that i don't have someone like that bugging me in my life.

ronaldinho's the european player of the year! he deserves it man. thierry henry's 4th. WHAT?! how can that be. frank lampard is 2nd while steven gerrard is 3rd. man this is unbelievable. i really do think henry should be at least 3rd. just because france doesnt have a very good reputation, why must henry be 4th man. in fact, i really think its about time where henry wins this. he deserves something like that! come on lah. even if u people don't support arsenal or don't like henry because he scores too many goals :P, u very well know deeply in your heart that henry is a WORLD-CLASS player. i truthfully think henry has done as well as lampard and gerrard the last year. but henry has been very consistent all the while. lampard played exceptionally well last year while gerrard played inconsistently last year but played superbly in the champions league. aiya. whatever it is, i think henry will clinch something next year! he's doing great at the moment!

hello. had some ultimate games thing at jurong church last night. yeah i had great fun! everyone was split up into 3 teams(red,yellow,blue) as we were going to play some "Capture the Flag" game. i went to the red team and i was 1 of the attackers. i perspired like crazy as everyone had to run here and there, throwing balls and sending people to 'jail'. haha. k lah let me explain. each team was given 7 balls and if u hit a person with a ball, that person would then have to go to a 'jail'. and to rescue people from the 'jail', all u needed to do was just go to the 'jail' and free them. there were 3 rounds. at first the yellow team was winning 1-0-0. the score remained the same until the final round. hehe. during the final round, when things got more intense and more strategies were sorted out, my team captured the flag 2 times. and its really difficult to capture a flag because there would be about 7 people from other teams surrounding the flag, armed with balls. so i guess our strategies worked haha. in the end my team won 2-1-1. heh

today, i went for my club's youth bowling team selection. bowled 10 games. the lanes were too dry i guess(my club's bowling alley sucks). everyone was having trouble with the lanes. in the end, i got 2nd place. luck was on my side lah. haha.

oh ya. arsenal won last night! woohoo! 3 classy goals. i think van persie's goal was the nicest. he dribbled past 2 players and had a un-copyrightable shot from a very tight angle that went in! i was amazed and am still amazed. well, im not cursing or what lah. but i'm hoping that man utd doesn't win tonight, so that arsenal can secure 2nd position in the premier league! haha. ok good bye

the sun was blazing today while we had soccer training. and i'm darker now. haha. training was quite fun today(would have been more fun if not for the sun). mr kennedy concentrated more on match-play today. i was separated from my team to join the team mostly consisting of sec 2s. i was quite reluctant lah because i'm not really used to their style of play. anyway we let in the first goal and i thought we were going to have a very difficult time. but luckily the star sec 2 player, Haswari, was brilliant. he scored a hat-trick. i find him a great player man. he is first of all humble and also has pace, stamina, vision and discipline. i scored 2 goals. but it wouldn't be possible without the aid of barry and haswari. i was playing as left back/wing. so i was running up and down. anyway that gave me the chance to attack too. so haswari, barry and i were sort of passing to each other here and there. that's good! haswari will certainly be a first-team player next year. he's got potential man!

and i'm damned shagged now. gotta go!

going for soccer training later and my legs are aching. played soccer yesterday at simei street soccer court from about 5.30pm - 9.15pm. and now i'm very bored. kenneth doesn't want to go for soccer training anymore. wasted man. haha. ok lah nothing to say. i was just hoping i could waste some time. unfortunately, only 5 minutes have passed.

ok. firstly, i'm sorry for not blogging yesterday. was too tired then. so here i am today! it's in the morning and i feel fresh haha.

yesterday was my first day at work. the uniform was damned stupid lah. had to wear this stupid striped collared shirt with an apron and a cap. yeah it was very uncomfortable too. and u guys out there know that my chinese is like...ATROCIOUS! so i had some trouble dealing with those old women who only spoke chinese. argh. i must really thank the Ministry of Education for making English the most important subject. if they did otherwise, i would be doomed! haha.

and also i wished i had studied a bit harder for my PSLE. as i didnt study very hard, i'm now stranded in a mediocre school(LYS) which doesn't offer very flexible subject combinations. argh. too bad i can't change the past. no one can. so the best thing i should do is to study hard with my crappy subject combination. haha. but i'll have A LOT of catching up to do should i qualify and enter a junior college.

and i've realised that what i've been talking for the previous 1 and 1/4 paragraphs are not relevant to WORK. hahaha!

the soccer team and i will be having a lot of soccer training this 2 weeks. 3 times a week man(Monday, Wednesday and Friday)! hopefully training would be on for only 2 weeks or else i'll have no time to do other stuff like BOWLING haha.

speaking of bowling, i went for some tournament on Sunday. got 10th position. thought i won something like 10 complimentary games. i THOUGHT. to my despair, only bowlers from 1st-8th position won prizes. in this 8-game series(u play 8 games), my scores were 200, 138, 144, 128, 190, 153, 235, 227. if not for those 3 crappy scores(138, 144 and 128), i would have won something man. haha. wasted. SO wasted.

k i don't think i have much to say. gotta work from 7pm-10pm today again. argh. but nevermind the MONEY inspires me to not be lazy haha.

just finished playing my bass guitar! was playing along the red hot chilli peppers cd.

had soccer training today at my school field(for the very first time). the pitch is not bad although it's still a bit bumpy. and i don't feel that unfit anymore! training was very relaxed today as there were many latecomers(including me) and limited time. haha. didnt play very well though.

im currently eating 2 apples. yeah eating fruits is part of my daily routine! its either 2 apples, 1 guava or a bowl full of grapes everynight. my PE teacher, mr han, said that to have a very healthy diet, one should eat at least 5 different fruits a day. that's too much for me haha.

i really hope Arsenal buys Fernando Torres from Atletico Madrid. that would be a great buy as there's no one in arsenal who can head the ball as well as him! Torres has great vision and finishing skills too. i personally feel that he would be a perfect addition to Arsenal. Arsenal also has 2 spanish players(Fabregas and Reyes). i'm certain that if Torres comes to Arsenal, he would fit into Fabregas and Reyes's style of play. this would be very very beneficial to the team as well as the Spanish team.

just watched Troy on HBO. second time i've watched it. that movie is damned nice man. the setting, storyline, choice of actors for various roles, music, climax, twists and many more. everything was whiskers away from perfection man! the way brad pitt acted was superb. he doesnt exaggerate and makes everything seem natural. please don't think i'm gay ok im just commenting on brad pitt haha.

anyway these are my top 5 favourite movies(i'm not a movie freak though).

#5 - White Chicks(damned hilarious movie)
#4 - The Skeleton Key/ The Village (both are equal to me. oh ya both are suspense movies too)
#3 - Flightplan ( a very unpredictable movie which had a great twist)
#2 - War of the Worlds ( i just love the sounds of the gigantic alien machines)
#1 - Troy (arguably the best movie!)

ARSENAL WON MAN! woohoo! Heroic Henry once again! he scored an exceptional free-kick which turned out to be the winner! Wicked Wigan was dangerous. they were making full use of their chances. Final score : Wigan 2 - 3 Arsenal. WOOHOO! haha and roy keane has quit manchester united. well, it was going to happen as almost all of alex ferguson's home-grown players like phil neville and beckham. and ferguson has made very very lousy buys like kleberson and djemba djemba. no offence to the manchester united lah. just voicing out my opinion. haha. bye

today was really really boring. wanted to go with boaz to kenneth's house to play some winning 11 and slack. unfortunately, boaz's mother was talking on the phone for so long that we were not able to contact boaz(no offence). haha. later boaz called while i was having a nap. he told me that he could come and said that he would call me back when he was about to leave his house(as our houses are quite near to each other). so i went back to sleep. about 15 minutes later boaz called and said that his mum didnt allow him to come. still in a daze, i just said ok and put down the phone. haha. an hour later boaz called again and said he could come, but only to play street soccer. but i dont know why i was so tired that i just said i couldn't come because i was lazy.

when i woke up, it was around 6pm. shit lah i shouldn't have said that i was lazy because it has been about a week since i'ved last played street soccer. and im getting unfit! haha.

went to tampines industrial park for dinner later on. ate my favourite roti prata while my parents ate some chinese ala carte. im feeling full now and i really think i need to exercise. haha. nothing else to say now so bye.

haven't done much today. i have been playing the com for hours man. first it was football manager 2005-2006. took a short break and then played metal slug 5 haha. i'm still quite lousy lah. completed the entire game in 11 credits. please don't be mistaken, my metal slug 5 is a PC game so it's free. haha. that's all.

shiok ah. a new blog(thanks to kenneth). many things to do during this holiday! anyway. i've just came back from a vacation. it was indeed a very refreshing trip. anyway time just passed so damned fast. and now im back.

ok i went on a cruise(super star virgo) to penang, then to phuket, and then back to singapore. my cabin had a balcony and it was very worth it. had a very clear view of the ocean and also a refreshing breeze.
what i saw from my balcony :
- about 7 dolphins.
- many many flying fishes
- hundreds of jelly fishes
- .... and an exorbitant amount of rubbish(especially at the seas of singapore)

didn't do much on the first day. just settled down in our cabin and familiarized with the ship. ate some really delicious food for lunch. after that i went with my bro to have a nice swim. oh yeah, the swimming pool had 4 jaccuzis which were loaded with warm water. after that we came back to our cabin to shower and then we went for dinner. after dinner, we went to the balcony and slacked.

the next day, we went for an early breakfast and after that another swim. well, the swim wasn't as nice this time because it was damned crowded(the swimming pool was very small too). so u can imagine lah. i was always bumping into someone while trying to complete a lap. we reached penang at 12pm. we went for a shopping tour. yeah it was non-stop shopping. and surprisingly, the stuff at penang are actually more expensive than that of singapore. so we didn't buy a lot. wasted lah. i thought the stuff would be much cheaper as i wanted a green original nike shirt. the tour ended at about 6pm and we went back to the ship. had another delicious dinner and i watched "The Day After Tomorrow" at the Picture House(located at deck 8 if anyone reading this intends to go on the same cruise). it was quite a nice movie lah. i think the message of that movie is to warn us humans that our selfish acts may lead to disaster. other than that, the movie was quite nonsensical. went to bed after that.

the next day, we reached phuket in the morning at about 8am. we didnt register for any tours. so we went to the beach the entire day. it was great man! actually it's quite difficult to believe that i was actually at phuket because it's been a really long time since i went on a vacation. i had a totally new experience - jet-skiing. it was awesome! after that, we relaxed at the beach. i then went for a 1-hour long full body massage(the things at phuket are really cheap). shiok lah. yeah. relaxed at the beach again till around 2.30pm. oh ya. im sunburnt. haha. later on we went back to the ship. i just love the beach at phuket man. the water is so clear that u can clearly see your feet in the water. well, as i said, time flies and it the 3rd day was over.

didn't do much on the last day. played some table tennis and ate some ice cream. was really surprised when i saw harbourfront mall. didnt know time passed so quickly. my holidays are going to fly as quickly too. so i'll try my best to make full use of my time. bye for now!
