hello. let me now blog about the 3rd and final day of my orientation in SAJC!

we started the day off by singing the national anthem and the normal standard procedures. after that, we attended the Chapel for worship. well in SAJC, everyone has to attend the Chapel on fridays(i dunno if it's every friday or every other friday), excluding the muslims.

after chapel, we went back to our classes to submit our registration forms. i was still contemplating whether to take H1 chem or H1 lit. in the end, i finally decided to choose H1 lit. i'll still attend some chem lectures to see if chem's better for me.

we then went to the hall to do CIP(Community Involvement Programme). everyone split up into pairs and each pair had to paint a glass cup. all the work would be sold at some fare in late january. hehe i feel proud that i've helped the less fortunate!

then, we all went to the cultural centre for mass games. the theme was "Dare or Dare". each kingdom was to send 1 person during each round. in the 1st round, the people had to act out 3 skids. it was really hilarious. 2nd round, they were all blindfolded and they had to use their hands to find hidden chocolate bars in a huge box. in the box, there were all sorts of stuff including marshmellows, sand, grass, oranges and cans. in the 3rd round(the last round), they were blindfolded and had to dance to a song. hahaha. seeing them dance blindfolded was just funny.

each kingdom was then separated to different places in the school for their finale preparations. we rehearsed our kingdom cheers, painted a lot of stuff purple(because purple's the colour for my kingdom) and dressed the kingdom mascot up.

after dinner, everyone went to the CC for the Finale. each person in my kingdom was given purple-painted cans with some sand inside so that we could shake them and make some noise. it was also part of the 'best kingdom identity' competition. and so we were shouting like crazy throughout the entire Finale. then came the 'best kingdom cheer' competition. and we won! haha. they then showed a video compilation of the winning moments of Team SAJC. great video, especially the rugby part!

everyone then proceeded to the hall for 'Disco Dance'. everyone basically had to dance to the music. haha. despite the growing fatigue in everyone, no one looked tired at all. everyone was jumping here and there and enjoying themselves. great fun, just great fun. the 'Disco Dance' lasted about 1 hour and finished at 9pm.

when everyone was dismissed, my OG went to take pictures and do somemore cheers. then we finished off with our kingdom cheer! we left at 9.30pm for our OG supper.

since the macdonalds at potong pasir was extremely crowded, we took an mrt down to Boon Keng and went to another macdonalds. we played cards and had supper and i had to leave early(because i live at pasir ris, argh). so i left at 11.05pm.

and this is how i go home from sajc. haha. it takes at least 45 min to get home. first, i'll take an mrt from potong pasir down to kovan. then, i'll walk to the bus stop and take bus 81. when i get off, i'll walk for about 7 minutes home.

i reached home at 12am.

all i can say is that, i loved the SAJC orientation and my OG! thank you OGL xiaoxuan for everything!
