as you can see, i haven't been blogging for a long long time. i was too busy. busy with what? project work duh! and a whole lot of slacking not in front of the comp. heh heh promos are over i'm so happy! a little more patience and project work will soon be over.

went to whitesands last night to meet up with boaz and ashiq, 2 of my best friends in secondary school. i miss them man! helped them with a bit of math because they're taking o levels. we were laughing quite a lot as usual, and since we haven't seen each other for quite a long time we were spending the majority of the time chatting. ahaha. but super fun man. yeah and we planned to play soccer during the holidays. last time i played with them was on the national day holiday! oh well i wish them all the best with their o levels!

and i received my progress report today.

yep i'm promoted. i could've done better because i was so careless for math, i didn't touch chem at all and my mind suddenly went blank during my physics(luckily my CA pulled me up to a B) but never mind, i'm contented! i shall learn from this and try even harder next year! everything happens for a reason man.

and today was principal mrs lim's last day in school. we had a really great farewell for her during assembly. it was well-coordinated with brilliant performances by different cca groups. later on some ccas gave her farewell presents. and she sang for all of us! and when she was about to exit the cultural centre, we sang, and she sang for the very last time, the sajc school song. and for once, i sang it full-heartedly. this was followed by the Oh When The Saints Go Marching In school cheer. this'll be 1 of my more memorable days i guess. Crescent Girls' School's principal will be taking over next year! things will certainly be different i guess.

promos this week! just 1 more week! go brandon go! go brandon go!

i'm mentally drained. did a fair bit of mugging today, although i was kicked out of macs cos it was too crowded to study so the manager talked to me nicely. haha! okay lesson learnt - don't go to macs to study on sundays!

so i came home, slacked a bit and then continued to revise some more econs. actually i wasn't realy revising. it was too distracting at home cos my mum was watching her korean drama as usual. with the funny music and all. but i joined in watching haha. cos i just got too bored studying! but i still studied okay.

anyway there was this dragonfly that was stuck in my room. i think it was attracted by my room light. it didn't want to leave my room la! and it was super noisy cos when it flapped its wings, they would be hitting the ceiling. so there was this super irritating buzzing noise. haha i tried using a book to hit it, hoping it would eventually fly out of my room through my window but it kept flying to the light instead. so in the end(with some guts) i went to hold 1 of its wings and just carried it to my window and dropped it out. BUT IT FLEW BACK IN! grrrrrrrr. so this time, i took it by its wing again, brought it to the corner of the window, dropped it and closed the window shut as quickly as possible! requires skill man. anyway mission accomplished. :D

10 more days to freedom. and i'm really looking forward to it! next friday will be a killer day though. h2 physics + h1 chem papers on that day! oh man my brain will just explode.

anyway had gp papers 1 and 2 yesterday. i really didn't know what i was writing for my essay. guess it was the pressure and tension kicking in! oh man i really hope what i wrote was of relevance to the question, or else, i'm doomed! gp paper 2 wasn't any better. i didn't have the time to complete my aq, which carries 8 MARKS( like randy gill would say). so i'll only get like 2/8 for my aq? oh my goodness.

mugging these few days have been a little more productive than last week! guess it's because i'm mugging at whitesands macs intead of home these few days. but it's super noisy at macs la! that stupid tv playing the same old advertisements over and over and over and over again everytime to the extent that the music of the adverts keep being played in my mind. haha see now i'm thinking of 1 of the adverts already. haha never mind, what more can i ask for anyway, macs seems to be the only place where i can study quite productively. QUITE only ah.

and i'm super tired now! haha.

my brain is saturated right now. been trying to mug productively, but in vain. can't seem to absorb anything. and in the end of the day, little has gone in. haha promos are in 2 weeks' time excluding gp paper. i have to mug more! problem is, i can't! it just isn't my nature to sit down for hours staring at worksheets. how!?!?!? hahaha someone kick me pls.

and from next year onwards, i am going to file my work. just realized the importance of filing work today. i can't find my notes! that = die. hahaha.

initially planned to rest and not to study at all yesterday, but i just felt too guilty not studying. haha studied at bishan library with jana conrad and made a few new friends who were jana's classmates! they're super funny man. couldn't stop laughing with them. i managed to do a little bit of math(integration) and am pretty confident for tomorrow's class test! if only i felt this way for my promos. haha.

now you see, everything i talk about links back to my promos. this is how dead life is when promos are drawing near. haha but school is fun! so i like :D

it's Jeanette's 17th birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEANETTE!!!

had teachers' day celebrations today it was great. haha the picture presentation of the teachers was quite hilarious. enjoyed it! and the sajc chorale did a very creative, fun and entertaining item. haha it was original somemore! thumbs up!

headed down to meet lihyuan and xueyin at tampines, then headed back to tampines primary school to visit my pri sch teachers! and they still recognise me man. haha! wow it's been like 5 years already. time really flies. and for the next 2 years tampines primary will be undergoing renovation so they'll be shifting to a temporary campus. i felt a little nostalgic man. haha. the school suddenly seemed so small also. and i joined the tps alumni thingy. can get cip hours through helping out in camps etc!

met shaun, vincent and lionel later on and we went to watch ratatouille(initially planned on watching dead silence but there weren't any suitable time slots). haha ratatouille's a great movie man! entertaining right from start to finish.

went for dinner at pastamania later on and then home!

all in all, a great day! argh i have to start mugging! sept hols here i come.

another great week! super tiring too. physics and econs lecture tests next monday, physics spa on tuesday, gp essay due on wednesday. oh my!

played in the soccer friendly match against singapore american school on wednesday. left sajc at around 3.15pm. the american school is huge man. really really huge! and the pitch we played on was carpet grass! whhoooaaa that's like epl standard haha. and behind the main field, there was another synthetic grass pitch! like jalan besar stadium man. and beside it was another smaller pitch(i think 7-a-side pitch) made of carpet grass as well! and in total there were 20 goal posts. wow. and further away there was a baseball pitch. haha crazy right. i felt as though i was stepping on pillows while running on the pitch. that's how comfortable it was. haha. the american players were kinda big and strong. most of them were taller than me i think. started the 1st half quite shaky. felt as though i forgot how to play as a central defender after 9 months of not playing an 11-a-side full pitch soccer match. but ze choa(the last man) guided me superbly! he's like a star of the team man. had a great 2nd half! if i can remember the american team didn't have a shot on our goal. we won 2-0(goals by kuoloon and zechoa). :D and mr roland lee was very kind to give me a lift to serangoon mrt station so that i could take a bus home. if not i wouldn't know how to go home man, given that the american school is at marsiling.

had a crazy thursday. we were all high and crazy after pe in the washroom. laughing and shouting like monkeys i guess! and i was super tired. i slept for half of my physics tutorial. never mind i hope mr yuen was digressing again heh heh.

went with lihyuan and xueyin to watch the bourne ultimatum, the movie i've been longing for since july last year, today. like finally man! and what a great movie it was. super exciting and action-packed! stylish and cool too. i wanna get the bourne trilogy and watch all the 3 parts in 1 go. and i'm gonna promise myself to read all the 3 bourne books(bourne identity, bourne supremacy, bourne ultimatum). they're like collecting dust already haha.

heh and arsenal won man city. what a great day it was today man! everything seemed to go my way. tickets weren't sold out for the bourne ultimatum and arsenal winning. hope i'll start my next week on a high note!

sorry sorry! long time no blog. haha. nothing much has been going on. just super heavy workloads from school. ahhh it's typical la, especially at this point of the year. oh yeah, i love PE sessions now man. actually, PE sessions now are more like laughing sessions. during every pe lesson, something super funny will just happen that'll make us keep laughing about it the entire day. hahaha that's good! super fun la. and we get to play soccer now during pe. so fun. anyway, just a short post. i'm shagged!
